Horizon 2020 projectsiBROAD: Individual Building Renovation Roadmaps. iBROAD develops individual building renovation roadmaps and building logbooks, in support of deep renovations in the residential sector - contributing to training of energy experts and auditors as well.
HAPPEN: Holistic APproach & Platform for the deep renovation of the Med residential built ENvironment. Stimulating the market uptake of deep retrofitting of buildings, with special regard to the Mediterranean area and to the residential built stock ALDREN: ALliance for Deep RENovation in buildings. Encouraging investment and accelerating the movement towards a nearly zero energy non-residential building stock accross the EU Triple A-Reno: Renovating Europe for its citizens. New consumer and end-user centered business models and decision support tools, using evidence-based performances that facilitate decision-making PROF / TRAC - Open Training Platform and Qualification scheme for Continuing Professional Development for professionals in the building sector. PROF / TRAC targets technical experts, architects and managers involved in nZEB design and construction. The developed European training and qualification scheme will be part of a life-long learning process for continuous development and up-skilling of professionals. IngREeS - Setting up Qualification and Continuing Education and Training Scheme for Middle and Senior Level Professionals on Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy Sources in Buildings (March 2015 - ongoing) The ingREeS project is directly linked to the European Build Up Skills initiative (BUS). It will extend the implementation of the Roadmaps on enhancement of skills to middle and senior level construction professionals. The Roadmaps identified key measures for setting up a national qualification and training schemes and other measures for ensuring development of skills essential for the field of buildings. MEnS – Meeting of Energy professional Skills (March 2015 - ongoing) The idea behind MEnS originates from the need to provide answers/solutions to current problems faced by societies. Our proposal therefore was constructed in a way such as to answer the specific challenges in the field of skills upgrading for the professionals involved in the construction industry. BU.G.S - BUilding Green Skills (December 2014 - May 2016) The overall objective of BU.G.S is to contribute to the removal of “bugs”, namely green skills gaps, which cause an incorrect result in the economic development and professional growth in the Construction Sector. “Energy Data Innovation Network” (EDI-Net) EDI-Net assists in building your city's or region's capacity to more effectively implement sustainable energy policies. Therefore it is analysing short time series metered energy and water data from public buildings, from renewable energy systems and from building energy management systems (BEMNS) in order to reduce energy consumption and to save money. Our initiative can help monitor the implementation of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans or your city's or region's local Climate Protection Plans. |

January 28th, 2019. Author: ALDREN project, https://aldren.eu/ The Horizon 2020 - funded projects ALDREN, HAPPEN, Fit-to-NZEB, iBRoad and TripleA-reno are proud to announce a new collaboration around the topic of building energy certification schemes, relevant also to building renovation passports. During their latest interaction, the projects identified potential clustering opportunities ranging from dissemination to technical activities. There are already more than 30 existing mandatory Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) related schemes in the EU. Horizon 2020 projects should preferably avoid adding even more schemes, which would only create additional confusion and impede EU harmonisation. The common activity agreed by ALDREN, HAPPEN, Fit-to-NZEB, iBRoad and TripleA-reno is a joint taskforce for relevant certification schemes, which would bring together and build on existing approaches around the topic, limiting the existing fragmentation. The final aim would be to contribute to a common EU (voluntary) EPC scheme, which could be adapted for each project’s focus while maintaining a common background. New collaboration between five Horizon 2020 projects! ALDREN, HAPPEN, Fit-to-NZEB, iBRoad and TripleA-reno projects are proud to announce a new collaboration around the topics of building energy performance certification schemes – #EPC and #BuildingRenovationPassports. The projects will establish a taskforce to bring forth a common energy certification scheme. Future potential steps include joint publications and events; stay tuned for more news!
